We were a party of 12 and enjoyed a pleasant experience at Duffer's Tavern Glen Mills. We ate outside, and they have a spacious sand pit where kids and kids at heart can play. Our waitress did a great job managing our large group as well as a couple of other tables. We ordered several appetizers, which were all delicious pizza dip gets 5 stars! What John Alhelm doesn't like about Duffer's Tavern Glen Mills:
The food was mediocre. Years ago, it was much better. The Maryland Crab was exceptional, perfectly spiced. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. This was our first visit in a while, and it will likely be our last. We used to be regulars back in the early 2010s. View all feedback.
Good food and good service at a reasonable price. the employees take care of them well.
Food was good, been going here for years. It’s very consistent. The service was terrible. The server was nice, but my order came out wrong, we had to flag her down for everything, even the check. She never checked in on us. I ordered takeout and asked for it on a separate check and that never happened. She said she would fix it but at that point we had been waiting so long for the check I just wanted to go home.
Very nice place especially for casual drinks and dinner. Superb bar area and bartenders
Great food, wonderful service. We were able to hear our party and enjoyed watching the others around us. The prime rib was excellent as was the steak frites.
Great food every time. Even packed the noise level in the dining room is great you can still hear and have a conversation.
