However, service was consistently slow and disorganized, with multiple orders forgotten or incorrect. The staff did not handle the situation well, leaving patrons feeling overlooked and dissatisfied. Despite these issues, the talented chef and high-quality ingredients did shine through. Overall, while the food was impressive, the service left much to be desired. You may want to proceed with caution when considering a visit to this establishment.
Delicious sushi in the inner city of glen ellyn, can not say that it was one of the best I had, but it was pretty good. the personal was friendly and the restaurant had a good ambiente with great decor.
Authentic Japanese sushi with really great hospitality. highly recommended people who like sushi and fresh sashimi. had a great time there. will go back there.
The service was pretty good. I arrived a little late to join my party. they were already sitting and served drinks. I was not offered to order a drink and had to ask for water. the waitress was quite free what I appreciate, but was available when she was called. we had sushi/sashimi and mijo suppe for appetizer. eating was just okay and a bit on the pricier side. they had cool Japanese rooms in which they pulled out their shoes and sit around a low table. we didn't eat on these tables, but they looked like really nice experience.
Very accommodating staff. Tasty food. Enjoyed our lunch there very much.
Ukai in Glen Ellyn is the best place to go for Japenese food! The service/staff are really kind and very nice. They're also very accommodating. Can't recommend a better place! They're my favorite spot to get Shrimp Tempura Udon on a colder day.
