Rue - Glen Ellyn

Great service, great food. The whole atmosphere was great. We celebrated our birthday and took our party of 15 people. It's a cozy little place. Will definitely go back.

My husband was originally from New Orleans. We're always looking for restaurants with New Orleans cuisine. I came over Rue on Yelp. I notified the restaurant and was very impressed with Patrick, the manager. We went to dinner last night. The kitchen was as close to Nawlins as you could come in Illinois. It's not the huge Pappadeaux chain. It is a small, picturesque restaurant that was picked up by the “Main” street. We'll go back there!

The best Cajun/Creole food I had outside New Orleans. Friendly staff who know the menu. All this place must get the New Orleans experience is a mango mango next door and about 20 some college blocks kicked out on the board! I highly recommend it. The Gumbo and Red Beans Rice will not disappoint. Make sure to wash everything with a beautiful, cold Abita Amber.

Excellent Cajun spot in downtown Glen Ellyn. High quality kitchen and drinks, but a casual atmosphere - no need to dress up. Daily specials if you are looking for a few dollars, but the portions are excellent, so it is worth the price.

Excellent little New Orleans restaurant downtown Glen Ellyn. Coleslaw was light and refreshing, hush puppies were crispy, Jambalaya was fantastic with just the right kick. Prices are a bit high but the portions are worth it. Our server Niel was great.. Very quick and attentive.
