Einstein Bros. Bagels - Glen Ellyn

The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I waited for 5 minutes without anyone offering to help me with my bagel order. When I finally asked for assistance, I was told that I had to place my order at a different counter. I requested to have my bagel toasted, only to be told that they do not offer that service. When I went to pay, the cashier was silent and did not inform me of the total price. Another customer asked for pepper and was rudely directed to find it themselves. The cashier then ran off without explanation. Overall, the service was bizarre and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place due to their lazy and unhelpful attitude. It was a truly unpleasant experience.

I used to enjoy their bagel sandwiches at the Champaign, IL and Wheaton locations before they closed. However, the Glen Ellyn location has consistently let me down. My last visit was a disaster, with my entire order being wrong and missing key ingredients. The staff blamed it on mixing up orders and I couldn't even speak to a manager to address the issue. Despite friendly staff, the service here is the worst I've ever experienced. I waited over 30 minutes for incorrect sandwiches. Unless you have endless patience and time to spare, I wouldn't recommend dining here in Glen Ellyn's downtown area.
