Toko Melbourne - Glen Eira

We did the basic set menu. Some courses were amazing, others lacked flavour but all were well presented. The service was the let down for this experience, courses were being rushed out from the kitchen too quickly meaning hot courses had gone cold before we got to eat them. I would have expected our bottle of wine to be delivered before our first course. Coffee ordered at the end of our meal didn't arrive after 15mins so asked for the check and the coffee to be removed. This place could be really good if they focused on service and timing, with only minor tweaks to some of the food. Highlight was the lamb cutlet.

The food was exceptionally good but our waitress wasn't friendly . When we said that we may like to order our own meals she was very judgemental and said that the meals won't come out together because of the different kitchens . All 4 of us found her unsmiley, unfriendly . She didn't engage with us at all , unconcerned about whether we enjoyed the food ! Very unusual for a restaurant like this in contrast to others we have been to !

Food good but background music very load and quite ordinary making conversation all but impossible

Amazing food and cocktails will go back for the food and drinks

Great food and service just as good as Toko Sydney. Outstanding service. A bit pricey but worth it.
