Staple Providore & Cafe - Glen Eira

This is a new restaurant which ticks all the right boxes. The menu is fresh, innovative, balanced and most importantly - the food tastes great. The coffee is excellent, the fresh juices great. The service is outstanding: friendly; engaging; and genuine.Fitzroy Street needs outstanding businesses like Staples.

The coffee is what defines this cafe, and the particular mouthfeel of the coffee is unique. However, when the menu simply states "eggs" and only serves one with little effort, it falls short compared to other cafes in the area. Despite being new, there is potential for improvement.

This restaurant staff are knowledgeable about coffee and their food is fantastic! The baked eggs are popular, but I can't resist the delicious meatballs. The staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect. It has become a regular spot for me.

I come from the West side of Melbourne specifically to come to Staple.In a fiercely competitive coffee city, Staple's coffee is up there with best! The menu variety keeps me interested and the "staples" are bang on...I dare you to try the butter! The interior is modern, warm and genuine...much like the staff really. I will keep coming back for the Melbourne groove and farmhouse infusion. Nicely done Staple!
