I really wanted to like it here. so I gave it a third. I'm sorry. only one question. Why do they have a frozen pattie from a super market and claim it is angus beef mince? absolutely shocking!

Yes the place looks like its standard bowls / pokie venue, but eating is an outstanding surprise. the hot sue pizza goes like a cracker and the beef cheek masala was one of the best curries I ever had. for a cheeky place in the burbs they cannot miss.

New menu reworked bistro. the risotto is amazing, the service is beautiful prices fantastic location a hop jump and a jump and finally pizza that is mouth water and authentic. seriously, it's just as good as lygon street pizza. the only place where my man asks every week whether he wants to go to the locals? I have lived from birth in the opposite and until today the best local bistro in the city. only child entertainment is a bit bad. they need some tables and chairs or blocks for them ger kinder became loose from the lego and my son was boring after 1min.

The arrival in the soc after the family had organized our collection to be there. I never really think too much hope for eating at such a place, but we were very pleasantly surprised. it was not very busy so I don't know if that was a factor, but 2 of us ordered the risotto, which was beautiful, you ordered the roaming and he was very impressed. they said they were very well cooked. another had the laughs and said it was cooked to perfection, while the others loved the fish of the day (what I thought was barramundi) and absolutely. very happy diner!

The bistro at the South Oakleigh was recently renovated from a cosy, warm, stylish looking venue with fairly decent food with fairly affordable prices, to now what looks cheap cafe type seating. Some McCafe venues look more stylish than this venue. The service is good and the staff lovely but the prices on the menu have been jacked up. If you are happy dining in what looks like a Maccas venue, then go for it!
