Sami's Fish & Chip Shop - Glen Eira

We have been patrons of Sami's before and have always been pleased with the food. However, tonight's order was disappointing. The extra large portion of chips was not enough for two people, the calamari rings were terrible and did not taste like calamari at all. The fish was decent but my whiting was rubbery in some parts. We will not be ordering from Sami's again and do not recommend it. It was so unsatisfactory that my sons had to order pizza because they were still hungry.

Ordered early on sat night then called before the order left the shop to add to the order. Was told we couldn't do that as the order had left. No problem. Placed a second order and waited mins but still no first order. Called...the shop to chase it up and was told they would call me back. Both arrived together and first order was cold as it left the shop half an hour prior. Someone from Sami's called and when I said our food was cold she said we just make the food. Not our responsibility. Awesome. Thanks heaps for the rubbish customer service. An apology is not that hard. Food was good as usual despite them forgetting the chicken salt. Shame about the rude staff.

My family and I visited Sami’s and were pleasantly surprised. The customer service was excellent, with the owners being very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and hygienic. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious, while the burgers were flavorful and satisfying. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant serves the best burgers in town. The fries are cooked to perfection and the potato cakes are crispy and delightful.

I accidentally called Sam’s Fish Chips and placed an order, not realising I had called a Sam’s Fish Chips on the opposite side of Melbourne. I called back to pay over the phone and they were kind enough to ignore my mistake with...no payment. In a time where people are struggling, it’s small gestures like this than can change a persons whole day. I will be coming to support your business one day, mark my words!
