Had organised a catch-up with a bunch of keen foodie friends and were very pleased to be able to bring our own wines. All the food we ordered was well presented and prepared and the staff were polite and helpful but a little casual at...More View all feedback.
Oishi is a good place for lunch or dinner. The food is good and the waitress is a great worker who clearly enjoys her job
We're strolling down along the Chapel st enjoying the long weekend to welcoming the Melbourne Cup day, YAYYYY!! Though it's cold out there but it's still considered as a great day cause it's a day off tomorrow LOL Surprisingly, we found the first authentic Korean...restaurant in this area named Oishi Kitchen The vibe and atmosphere were good, cosy and clean. The customer service was speedy serving. Note: Don't be surprised if you find your bimbimbab sauce move to other tables taken by customer staff without asking, because some people might get offended on this action. We ordered: Hotpot BiBimBab for Served in the traditional hot stone bowl with seasoned vegetables, beef, fried egg and mushrooms. It was one of the best BiBimBab we've ever tried, the taste was balance and well seasoned. It came to the perfection when you added the homemade bimbimbab sauce, WOW!!! Oishi....!! The beef was very tender and juicy, but the portion given wasn't that much. We're happy to give and very recommended. Boneless Fried Chicken (small) for with additional on Garlic Chilli sauce. It wasn't crispy enough from outside The worst part was the soggy texture when you cut the chicken. We didn't really enjoy the KFC as it was was very greasy, oily and tasteless. Unfortunately, we paid additional for the dipping that wasn't nice either. The average taste was less than expected and overpriced for this quality. Would give this Overall, we had a good time having the bibimbab but not the KFC. Price: Taste : Speed: Service: Yay: Hotpot BiBimBab is really recommended! Nay: Boneless Fried Chicken big NO NO!!
We’ve been here with friend month ago, and the food was delicious , generous and yummy umm...price pretty good which suit with the quality, taste and the portion..definitely will came back again..
Fell upon this place had a cheap tasty meal. of a cafe than restaurant. Clean with plenty of choice. The food arrived dish by dish as it was cooked. Service was rather lacking. Had to ask for eating implements, the napkins, then glasses....It was even hard to pay the bill as all the staff were enjoying their supper paying no attention to us. Dan Murphys is across the road so do yourself a favour take advantage of the BYO at per person. Food was really good. Would go again if on the area but won’t make a special effort to get there.

I ordered chill chicken karake, edamame and cocos water. all delicious and look forward to. soon recurring position on the car, near the tram/bus stops.
