Had Pho and spring rolls delivered tonight - excellent. Usually its a bit 2nd rate after delivery but this was great and included all the extras like lemon, chilli, bean shoots. We will go back in person now we know this is here View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kin Vietnamese Restaurant:
Ate here tonight. Average food. Grilled chicken and rice was tasteless. Braised beef was ok but not great. Portions are small. Charged for drink we didn't have. Won't be going back. View all feedback.
Great find in Prahran. Great food and great atmosphere and food. Staff very welcoming. Really good people watching as well
Simple menu, but tasty food. The starters were very spicy, beware of the bean sprout salad! However I like spicy so not a problem. Main course was really tasty. Noodles in a soup with chicken combo delicious. Washed down with happy hour beer was a treat. Service very efficient and straightforward. Nice place to eat.
I dined at this restaurant twice in one week. The lunch meal was exceptional, but the dinner was still good, just not as impressive. The menu offers a wide variety of options and the food seems to be fresh, like many modern Vietnamese cafes. There are plenty of great dining options on Chapel Street, so if you have a bad experience at one restaurant, there are plenty of other choices available.
I went for dinner with my 13 week year old baby and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Food was delicious, service exceptional.
Rating: 3.5/5 After a long day at my new job, I met up with Ozzy and a friend for lunch. We were hungry and didn't feel like searching for a restaurant, so we decided to try Kin as we happened to be passing by. The atmosphere was simple and homey, nothing too fancy. We figured the food would be either really good or really bad. We ordered Grilled Chicken with Pok Pok Rice, Kin Spicy Rice with Shredded Chicken, and Bun Saigon Vermicelli with Chicken. Luckily, we enjoyed most of the dishes, but the standout was the Pok Pok rice with grilled Chicken, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. The Vermicelli with chicken was also tasty, with fresh greens and veggies. However, the Kin Spicy Rice with Chicken was a bit disappointing due to the bland tomato curry sauce. The lack of variety in flavors was a letdown, as all the dressings, salads, and spices seemed to be the same for each dish. The food also took a long time to come out, possibly because the owner herself is the chef. The service was good and the pricing was fair.
