I ordered two herbal hand rolls with tofu and they were delicious. The staff was very friendly and I was pleased to see they offered vegan brown rice options, which can be hard to find at other places.

For japaner I always order the delivery of home from near kaaoli sushi. it is fresh and delicious. I usually arrange the same dinge: alterashi tofu, salmon sushi rolls, sushi pack, chicken benton. every time the food quality is consistent and the customer service is excellent. big job kaaoli

I frequently order takeout from kaaoli (sometimes more often than I should). I usually stick to my favorite dishes like aga dashi tofu, Salmon/Avocado handrolls, chicken bento box, or tempura udon. The restaurant is conveniently located near my home and the food still stays crispy when delivered by foodora. While it may not be as fresh as dining in, the kitchen service is excellent and the delivery staff is always on time. Unfortunately, the foodora website doesn't allow for messages to be sent to the suppliers, so I have had to contact the Kaaoli staff directly for specific orders. They have always been helpful, efficient, and friendly. Overall, I have never been disappointed with my experience.

You can select from the cold dishes in the fridge that doubles as a counter (sushi, hand rolls etc) or order one of the hot dishes that are helpfully displayed with photographs on the wall. These dishes are cooked to order on the spot and I would highly recommend the very tasty gyoza (Japanese dumplings). We loved them so much we ordered a second batch! Kaaoli is a good place for families or groups as well as somewhere you can pop in on your own for a quick bite to eat. If you need fast, tasty and good value Japanese in the Prahran area then you should give this place a go. You can take away or eat in and as an extra bonus they are licensed so you can have a beer or wine with your meal if you want to.
