Hu's Pie & Dumplings Malvern

We made an order with Uber Eats after calling the restaurant. Hu's Pie and Dumpling Restaurant there was a foreign object prawn or crab legs. My partner could have gone into anaphylaxis. The restaurant said we are over reacting and told us to f@ off and call my partner a ducking gay C@nt and homophobic remarks. Reporting it to the Department of Health.

Have had takeaway from here before and food always good. Last night I waited 1 hour and 10 mins for 5 items to take away- chicken mushroom soup, chicken fried rice, Peking duck, beef and broccoli and cashew chicken. Meanwhile others in the restaurant were being served food, other takeaways were being served and Uber eats too. At the 45 min mark I told the only person there that I’d like a refund and that I’m leaving. She apologised and said it would only take another 5-10 mins. Well that was a lie. I won’t be returning again this was a very unfortunate experience with nothing but an apology.

Worse experience ever. The honey chickens was over cocked, the meat was not fresh. The young guy (look like the son of the owner) was extremely rude. We paid the bill and left with a full table of food, and decided never come back.

Only one other family in the restaurant, but that didn't bother me the photos of the food looked good to me. I wasn't disappointed, the food came quickly, it was tasty and the portions were more than generous. The style is mainly from the North East of China, but also Hong Kong, so a fusion of Chinese provinces this is a go back to place.

REALLY BAD! We ordered $175 worth of food from this restaurant and it turned up 2 HOURS LATE because the driver was “lost”. We didn’t want to accept the food because it had been sitting in the car for hours. The staff over the phone were extremely rude, hung up on us and would not process a refund!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
