I'm coeliac and i came here late on a weekday night while traveling for a conference. There were good gluten free options. Nice wine served and a really cool vibe. I had the 3 mushroom pho which was delicious. View all feedback.
What Gheorghiță David doesn't like about Hanôi Hannah:
Sickly sweet Vietnamese iced coffee, rickety chairs and overpriced bland faux Vietnamese. Don’t bother. The service was quite average borderline rude too. Go elsewhere! View all feedback.
Ordering in, you won't regret ordering the Indochina Margarita & soft shell crab!! Oh so good! (5 star for these items).
So it seems to be the place all the cool kids like to hang out and be seen.
The serving staff were so unkempt and tardy that the thought of having the xo pho was ruined, because I prognosticated soup served in dirty bowls accompanied by unwashed chop sticks. The hommie look is so passe, why cant millenials and gen y s understand that good food needs to be served by smart people. Save the grunge look for when taking Daisy on a bicycle ride in Fitzroy.
The place remind me of Vietnam, small, crowded but with a good smell of delicious food.you can tell is not Vietnam because of the height of the tables! The menu is really good but my favorite was the Pho soup, it was just as I remembered, I also recommend the spring rolls, very nice and well balanced flavour.Remember this is a small place that don't take reservations and large groups (more than 5) will find it not too convenient unless they are happy to split the group.Price wise is not too bad.
