I went to this restaurant last night and tried the Chicken sweet and sour dish. My husband and I have recently been trying to eat less meat for the past two weeks, but we both love chicken. Surprisingly, I didn't miss the real chicken while enjoying this meal. It was the best fake chicken I have ever tasted. The menu had a lot of tempting options, making it difficult to choose. The restaurant wasn't crowded, probably because it was a Monday night. The service was fast, and the staff were nice and polite. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

This restaurant has been a vegetarian staple in the south east for many years, offering cheap and delicious vegetarian food. The menu now includes Chinese dishes due to the current owners, who bring an Asian influence to the restaurant. As someone who spent 8 years in China, I am thrilled to have this restaurant close by now that I am back in Australia.
20+ years ago I used to love when my parents picked up Global Vegetarian for dinner I wasn’t vegetarian at the time but was absolutely crazy about the food here (especially the samosas). <br/ <br/ Just moved back into the area and it’s my new local. Lovely staff and delicious, hearty food. The real romance of restaurant dining, no matter how humble, is a special thing, and it’s here in buckets.
This establishment, a restaurant, local in the inner-Melbourne suburb of Ormond. It’s my personal favourite to go to. <br/ <br/ Service/food/atmosphere 10/10/10
