What Abigale Will doesn't like about Franco Choo's:
The food was good without being anything spectacular. The service was excellent though. Both hosts were really helpful, knew the menu well and were able to provide recommendations. Every table was full when I was there and it did get very noisy and you had to yell at each other a bit. I wouldn't rush to go back but the menu is always changing so I'd still give it another go. Delicious food. Braised beef cheek special was very tender, fish soup entree was hearty and the chocolate crepe finished off the meal nicely. Bit of a wait between courses. The ambience is nice and cosy and price is reasonable for quality and portion of food.
Great restaurant for an intimate 'date 'night to reconnect over stellar wine recommended by our friendly waiter. All meals were sublime however the semifreddo was decadent whilst being a wonderful close to a great meal. We both enjoyed the simplicity of the crispy skinned barramundi with celeriac potatoe. An early booking enhanced the dining pleasure as a large group of excited patrons pushed the noise level to an uncomfortable high towards the end of our meal. We will be back!
