First time here, staff were really friendly and courteous, above and beyond customer service with the Chef also coming to our table mid meal to check we were happy with our order and food. The food was great! We had the Barra Kabab (spicy lamb cutlets) really tasty and moorish, the Beef madras and chicken korma with side dishes. The garlic naan and roti were superb, overall an excellent experience and would defiantly... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chakor Indian Restaurant:
Despite a nice waitress and good service, everything tasted “old” and flavors were “flat”. Obviously no fresh ingredients / pictures in the curries; the rice was dry and certainly not fresh. Wouldn't recommend going there, but maybe her take is better. View all feedback.

Friday night walk ins. Three of us. Very friendly waitress. Good meal selection. Complimentary bowl of poppadoms and dips. They were a tad stale. Samosa and pakora to start. All good. Chicken Tikka and lamb Rogan Josh. The ratio of meat to sauce was very...high. Tikka was a stand out. Succulent pieces of chicken in a spicy sauce. Beautiful to mix with plain rice. Service was excellent and prices very reasonable. They deserve to succeed. here.
Whoa! This place has newly defined 5 Star Indian and is a hot new restaurant and local jewel. It is a small family-run restaurant with an attentive cook pumping out what could be the best Goat Curry I ever tasted. I asked about 'Asian... very hot spicing and got it. The meat was not all dry and not muddy at all. I had a brief discussion with 2 of the family who discussed the business with me their other special offers. The paneer is homemade. They say it's a specialty and homemade. Can't wait to try it! Make sure to bring your alcoholic drinks. Excellent service, as I really appreciated the cook that came to the table and asked me about my preferences for the dishes I had chosen. Wheelchair-friendly and also H/Cap toilets. It cannot be the best destination for families with children. The rating for this place
