I stopped by for a takeaway lunch and to enjoy some sunshine. It looks like they have slightly changed their name to Carre St Pantry House. I ordered their Reuben sandwich and it was served quickly. This off the Main Street venue is a simple delight to the area ? Once was a deli-coffee venue but now offering a quick breakfast /lunch menus with other delicious delights on offer , coffee is great as is the staff & management , keep on offering this service and appreciate your attention to magazines and newspapers , thank you !Peter/ken View all feedback.

The sandwich was nicely warmed, not overly toasted like some other takeaway places. The Rye bread was delicious and the combination of fillings was just right for me. The sauerkraut and pickles added a great sour and salty flavor, while the mustard provided a nice kick of vinegar. The meat was also very good - not too salty and no fatty bits, just tender and delicious. The price of $14.50 was average for the area, but a bit of a splurge for me. I would definitely return and recommend it to any Reuben lovers!

This place has no identity at all. Having lunch there is not an experience that I would like to repeat soon. Sandwiches are average, salads look great but tasteless. I bought a few salads to take home for dinner with friends, I ended up having to "boost" their dressing because they were tasteless and boring.A strange combination of products. This place is located well but they need to find their identity and offer a wider range of food. The fridges and windows are not tempting and quite empty for a cafe. Strange combination of salads, Asian food, groceries, bread etc. weird place with no personality.
The place has lost its charm and the coffee is very average; when I ask for strong I mean it! There used to be an appetising array of baked goods and a more edgy vibe.
My family and I recently had a great experience at this cafe and I would highly recommend anyone to try it out when in the area. The Rueben Sandwich was fantastic and the staff were lovely.
