I sat here for Christmas dinner. the service was very attentive, without lubricating itself. I felt that this was the strongest point of the restaurant. total we were 3 adults and 2 children. we started by the vilai chips, octopus and 3 of the dips (eggplant, garlauch tzaziki.) that were all amazing. the escaped were less impressive between us 5, we shared 2 kings garnel, salmon and garnel risotto. the true sign of G... A beautiful restaurant in Glen Cove... not fancy but extremely well decorated. The owner is very hands on, very generous and always looking to make the restaurant good for all kinds of diners.. Food is delicious, some items are on the pricey side but many are not only affordable but excellent value. Four of us shared a delicious Romaine Salad with feta and a great dressing that was 13 bucks and we couldn't finish it... View all feedback.
The grilled fish at this place is outstanding. Other dishes too are excellent. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The manager/owner knows what he is doing and the food quality is superior. The decor is tranquil. It is located a few minutes down Glen Cove Road is a welcome addition to the area doesn’t have the “scene” or sky high prices of places like Kyma and Limani). Food is at least equal to and often far better than at those trendier hotspots.
We enjoyed our meal at Vilai. The octopus appetizer was the hit of the evening.
As usual, food and service were spectacular. The beds and salmon tartar appetizers were fantastic. The Nigerian shrimp entree was extremely tasty and an amazing dish. This is one of the best restaurants.
Fish was fresh and delicious. Service super. Chairs uncomfortable. Should include vegetables with dinner for price point. Warm.
I have dined here before always a delicious meal and a great dining experience.
