The beautiful pictures of the villa are nothing like pratts restaurant. pratt is a pub charged, but this is an exaggeration. it is up in what only the servants... read more The beautiful pictures of the villa are nothing like pratts restaurant. pratt is a pub charged, but this is an exaggeration. it is up in what only the servants of the house could have been. it's dark, dingy and dated. you feel like you're in a restaurant outside ny where you're calmed when you're on vacation and are desperate. the service was slow and we had to ask with each cure for a knife. they gave us only the restaurant week menu, not both the special and the regular menu. there was no wine card and as such we did not know the names of the wee where he was out or the price per glass. as it turns out that every glass we have ordered was $16, a bit much for a $28 restaurant week dinner. the burrata was excellent, the bay scallops were in order, my friend liked the filet mignon but my fish was best marginal. the sweet, which came with the meal, were mostly green paprika and the lobster dick was old and stale. the couple went next to us before their desserts arrived because they waited for so long. I think the only reason we got our dessert in time was because we probably got theirs. the administration offered them no coffee or drink for their waiting period. they have not cappuccino or espresso and they have not offered us after dinner cocktail (for sale). I have starved and disappointed. I would never go back.

This time it wasn't. a gast was not allowed to change his order after it was entered on the list. we asked for broth, but they said they don't do a broth. eating that when it arrived, was barely tepid. silverware came after eating that had to come from the kitchen in the cellar to the restaurant in the dachboden. 5 of 6 commanded the steak; not one piece was done by our order - everything was over! not accessible to disabled persons. (which we knew, but not published.) the menu was not so written. we said chocolate cake was not available, but cheesecake was. but when we were ready to dessert, there were only 2 slices of cheesecake and chocolate cake.? coffee was cool when served altho a fresh pot was made. When I finally got hot coffee, I was finished with my meal. I admit that the waterglass was kept filled.

Great food, they have a good Pre Fixe menu. It was busy but service was friendly and the managerRichard check on us a few times. We will go back.
