Debbie's is a cozy, down-home restaurant perfect for enjoying classic comfort food. The local clientele adds to the welcoming atmosphere, with seniors, families, and workers from the nearby Tyson plant frequenting the establishment. While the ambiance may be a bit mixed, the spacious layout ensures you won't feel cramped, although the smell of cleaning products can be strong at times. Service can be hit or miss, especially if there is an event in the banquet room. The food is where Debbie's shines, with dishes like fried chicken, meatloaf, and spoonbread standing out. Desserts are freshly baked and worth saving room for. Overall, Debbie's offers no-frills, home-cooked meals that are satisfying and comforting. It may not be life-changing, but it's a reliable spot for a tasty, familiar meal.

We loved Debbie's Kitchen but I think it's closed permanently now. I hope I'm wrong. But their website is gone and their phone doesn't answer.

I really enjoy this place. It's nothing fancy at all. It's a country diner where locals congregate to have comfort food. My family and I can always find things we like--meatloaf, burgers, fried fish, sandwiches, soup, good salads, and a variety of delicious sides that taste like someone's grandmother is in the back, cooking. (Spoonbread is hands down the best!!! Everything tastes so fresh and good, the service is always friendly, and restaurant offers a nice meeting space if you're hosting a special event. Enjoy!

Food was good. Service was a little slow, took 2 people to wait on us before we got our food. Prices are reasonable.

Old fashioned little family owned place. I love that they use real diner plates and cups. We ate breakfast here. The food is good and the service is too. Would visit again.

Debbie 's is a comfortable meat and three 's kind of place. Strictly a local comfort food joint, many of the patrons are on a first name basis with one or more of the wait staff or the owners. Seniors, families, and workers from the nearby Tyson plant are likely to be sitting around you. Ambiance is a mixed bag. There is plenty of room between tables so you do not feel crowded or rushed. But if you come in after the usual dinner hour it 's open I believe until 10 PM you 're frequently going to eat your meal while enjoying the strong smell of the Pinesol being used to scrub the floors as the staff gets a jump on closing chores. Service is friendly but inconsistent. There is a banquet room that relies on the same kitchen and wait staff, so depending on whether you come in to the dining room when the softball teams or american legion or whatever is there or not, the attention you receive may be divided/strained between the dining room and The Room. A television above the cash register is always tuned to network TV, so that 's a plus if you like to watch the tube while you eat. Sunday brunch is a zoo. I want to be clear that I like Debbie 's for a simple brunch, but be prepared to wait, even once you get a table. Eggs, pancakes, waffles, french toast, etc. Nothing extravagant but all well executed. The several times I have been there for brunch it was obvious the kitchen was having trouble keeping up, and so were the wait staff. But if you can relax and chat with your tablemates and do not have anywhere to be, it is a good start to the day. At lunch and dinner, the food is good. Fried chicken is a go to for us the three piece dinner comes with your choice of pieces, not just white or dark but whatever you like. Meatloaf is good, as are the pork chops. My wife likes the chicken livers and the liver and onions from time to time, though I have to rely on her word for these. All entrees come with two sides and yummy yeast rolls. While the veggies are not the strong suit, they are adequate and occasionally downright good. The spoonbread, for instance, is the best I have had since I was a child. The chef salad and its breaded cousin the club sandwich are both satisfying (the salad is oversized. There are burgers and such that are unremarkable but are cooked to order and meet expectations. Desserts can be spied out on the bar top, usually several layer cakes that are generously sliced for you. All are apparently freshly house made and definitely worth it if you have room. I recommend this place if you are looking for a no frills tastes like your mom 's cooking kind of place. Assuming your mom is more Aunt Bea than Julia Child. It won 't change your life, but it can be a comforting end to your day.
