The front area with the bar was quite chaotic (... read more I came here with my partner late on Friday night for a drink and some tapas, and overall we were very satisfied. The front area with the bar was quite chaotic (as is to be expected of such a venue), however, both the upstairs area and courtyard at the back offered a little bit of respite from the cacophony, and I can imagine that this would be an extremely enjoyable location to get drinks with a group of friends. We ordered up at the bar, and our food came very quickly. For bar tapas, the food was of very high quality and extremely tasty. The patties and filling in the sliders were bursting with flavour, and the buns were soft and fresh (apologies for the dark picture). The pork belly was exactly what you would hope for in a good pork belly - crispy, salty skin, with meat that falls apart - and the accompanying sauce and meats (chorizo and black pudding) were just a tasty bonus! The chips were also excellent. Not only were they crispy, but their cheese/spice topping added a unique savoury flavour. Overall, Different Drummer ticks many boxes, and I would eagerly visit it again!
