We felt very w... read more It's really pleasing to see what's hidden in Riverside. Wonderful food, a very nice lodge room with a view of the river, and very friendly staff. We felt very welcome as guests and our special request for breakfast was even fulfilled.

The location is beautiful and quiet, along a small river and a short walk from the Rhine and the German border. It is about 20 minutes away from Zurich Airport,... read more The location is beautiful and quiet, along a small river and a short walk from the Rhine and the German border. It is about 20 minutes away from Zurich Airport, but can seem to be up to an hour at peak times. The rooms were quite large, stylish and well furnished. The beds were comfortable, although the pillows were somewhat flat. The bathroom is spacious and very modern. I didn't use the other hotel facilities, but the breakfast was great. A wide range of good cheese and meat, breads, pastries, some hot foods such as bacon and eggs, locally source honeys, jams and iced tea, a selection of Nespresso coffee, yogurts and more. Everything was delicious. The service of the reception and restaurant staff was excellent. Very friendly and they really encouraged to help. I stayed free because of a missed flight connection, so I can't comment on the price-performance ratio.

All employees very friendly and helpful. Very nice new seminar floor. Great room in the River Lodge!
