Gideon's Bbq Smokehouse - Glastonbury

Had the pulled pig sweet and I lubricated it in her fantastic Carolina mustard sauce and it was like biting in a cloud! Coleslaw needs some fat added to it, for me it was not creamy enough and little taste. Everything else was great.

Large BBQ options and staff are friendly as the cashiers patiently declare some of the menu options they had and recommend the side sauce they had to combine with your order. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich and it was amazing!!

Nice place to have in the middle of the un-BBQ country. We enjoyed the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, but wish the frits were a little bit more crisp. Thank you, we enjoyed our food.

This place is a jewel. The food is delicious and the customer service was great. I brought my boys there last night and we had a pleasant dinner. The food was so good. I can't believe we've never been here before. Pulled pork sides were awesome My husband loved the takeout sausage dinner I brought home for him We liked the quiet atmosphere also check it out! Every time I see a place serving smoked brisket I stop and try it. I bought 2 lbs at 11:15 am and drove 30 minutes back to my house before sampling the best brisket I have eaten in 6 years. The meat was cooked perfectly and fell apart without any cheweyness. Every bite was tender and juicy. Their house sauce is good although the flavor is not pronounced in the meat. I will definitely drive the 30 minutes to eat again.
