He didn’t listen and we had to tell him again to add an i... read more The cafe looked untidy and tables dirty. The guy who took our order looked like he was chewing a wasp. He didn’t listen and we had to tell him again to add an item to our order. I went to the toilet and my partner had our order yelled at him. He went and collected it. No mention from your staff the chocolate powder was self service, as the entire menu is. I had a cheese toastie and it was like a slice of rubbery goo. I had fond memories of this cafe and that’s partly why we travelled from East Lothian to visit. My partner put our dirty things on the tray and left them on the counter. He thanked the aloof barista but he barely acknowledged him. Your staff were stood around chatting while your cafe was looking a mess. We will not be back.
