Contribute FeedbackLocated on Sauchiehall Street, Lauder's Pub draws a diverse crowd of locals and travelers. While some reviews note a slight decline in atmosphere and service, the pub is praised for its excellent prices, with dishes like a well-prepared Irish sausage and colcannon, and hearty sirloin meals at remarkable low costs. The friendly staff, who provide quick service despite busy times, adds to the appeal, especially for pre-show dining. However, concerns over management and cleanliness remain, suggesting a need for improvement. Overall, Lauder's offers a budget-friendly taste of Scottish pubs, perfect for casual dining.
Been to Lauders often and always enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. However don’t know what happened yesterday. Long waiting time for food to be served, then it was wrong order, but decided to take what we were given due to waiting time. Wish I had just asked for money back as the drunken mushrooms I got were really bad, the mushrooms were mushy the batter soggy and the mayo dip was awful. Will probably be a while before we visit again
Certainly went down hill since i first drank in here 30years ago Went in at Halloween about 9.30 pm place was not overly busy possibly 4 people serving waited about 6-7 minutes to get a drink, going for a second round only one person behind bar gave up after about 12 minutes. They had also shouted last orders at 10.30pm must have made enough for the day. Staff looked miserable and lacked any customer friendly service. Male toilet was disgusting swimming in urine, which was just running out the urinal, Should spend some of that profit on staff and clean toilets Wont be back any time soon
This pub is a Glasgow institution. Great and varied menu, very reasonably priced, our server was fab.
Great place for pre show drinks and food. Went in before our show it was busy but the hardworking staff kept it going without too much waiting time Pauline and her team deserve a pat on the back for doing their best to keep all their customers happy
Been a few years since visited, and it still doesn't disappoint. The staff are so helpful, happy, friendly. The option of meals is really lunch and drink for 6.75 to 8.50, and the quality of food I could not fault one bit, no grease/fat. Wife had fish/chips,and for me the jerk chicken option with extra fries and onion rings, vand side salad. All for £19.20... the lassie we had was so helpful with finding a cider I would drink, but still had a fantastic time. 10/10 across the board, and will see you next time.
