The Kirkhouse - Glasgow City

Booked a last minute away to celebrate my friend who finished uni and have some bestie time. what a nice time we had. the new bar on the back, which was never there, is never a nice, cozy, lush decoration and eating was so delicious.! also had such a good bedroom. bedroom was clean and simple and matratze super comfortable. the personal is beautiful. my only complaint, my stay was too short! I will definitely be back! Many thanks when they read this! I loved it! x

My sister has booked a table for people on Thursday afternoon after we have passed away from our father. in the minute we were in the cash, lyn came to us and we said that we have a reservation that lyn tells us that there are no tables with a posture booked. my niece came out of the family car and stumbled over a step at the house door and lyn made a commentary that she was too drunk and she would not serve her. then lyn decides to tell my nephew that he and his friends, where drug taken in the toilet when they, where just from a funeral back. the service was shocking that the space was empty. will not be back.

Big day/night eating drink was fantastic and reasonable prices and the staff could not be nicer so helpful. dj was great to have every song we asked them to play. such a big day/night could not fail for nothing. the good we went back days...later to lunch and was not disappointed eating was nice

We live down the road from here but hadn't been since before covid. When we did go we found it was under new management so we were a little bit wary. Since then we've been quite a few times and I would say its just...a different atmosphere from before. Its much more welcoming. All the staff are lovely (Joan, Lynn and Lauren I think) and you can tell they are doing their best to make you happy. There always seems to be a manager or supervisor there which I like and the manager works too rather than being a figure head. The menu doesn't have a great deal of choice for me (but I've always found something) but I think they're probably still working out what people like best. Last last time we went they had a special of quesadillas (bbq pork or chicken but pork was best) which were totally amazing and you got loads of them with a huge salad!!! Well done to the kitchen staff (JJ, Jerry, Kyle) for that. I would say its totally worth a go if you're in the area. Its very clean (men's toilets always have water on the floor which isn't so nice), you wont find more accommodating staff, the prices are reasonable and the food that I've had has been good.

Dylan was our server and he had great service was very friendly and good at his job! Me and my mam have been here twice now while I’ve been purchasing a car locally and it was a great place to come and eat. I had...the vegan burger and vegan wrap and they were both great. Prefer the burger in my opinion. My mam had the spicy chicken pizza and the spicy burger and she loved them both. Portion size was huge! All round great place to visit
