The Alishan Tandoori - Glasgow City

We ordered a few times from here. my man loves her chicken pakora! I went for the chicken and egg cure and it was delicious! I'd like to have it hotter, so I'll ask the next time. lamb bhuna was great. fast delivery too. I think we'd order from here more often if they had a set menu.

We visited glasgow and looked for a good desi community that served authentic eating, so we went with the strong reviews about alishan and gave him a shot. the decor was like most Pakistani restaurants, not chic, but acceptable. the owners were also quite corteous young and also very chatting. So we have taken her advice and ordered chicken tikka, chicken balti and chaat for beginners. the chaat gave an indication of what was to follow as it was done in ketchup! The best curry of all time! I have been coming here with my family for almost years and can honestly say that it is the best Indian restaurant of all time. when I fan of curry I tried her all over the world and the alishan wins down every time. the owners are also beautiful! there is a large menu, but if they are not sure what they choose, just ask one of the peculiarities (ali or chico are always there) and tell them what kind of dinge they have pleasure and they will choose something to their taste. Just right. Decor-wise it's a bit of a time-warp, but quite right too: unpretentious and homely, the menu packed to the rafters and excellent service. food tasted lovely, menu extensive and portions just about right. some interesting dishes that i hadn't seen on indian menus before. i'd highly recommend!
