What Claire N likes about Papa Gills:
This is my favorite takeout restaurant, and it's a bonus that it's only a 10-minute walk from where I live. I can't find any faults with the food they serve, it's amazing. I just wish that the pakora sauce came in larger containers. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Papa Gills:
a steak. I wanted to be sirloin. it was obviously boiled directly from frozen. the form warns sirloin and it over lapped it itself and was so cooked. complained, but it really didn't matter. View all feedback.

Took quite a while to be delivered and was cold on arrival which was a shame.
Ordered a pakora hogie. I was disappointed with the two pieces of chicken pakora cut up into small pieces and bread throughout. Many filled with chips.
One of the best indian takeaways in west of Glasgow, food is always amazing and the wait time is not long!

read moreDespite mixed reviews, Papa Gill's offers a range of Indian dishes that can satisfy your taste buds. While some customers have experienced unpleasant customer service and food quality issues, others have found the food to be hot and delicious, with generous portions at a reasonable price. The lack of friendliness in the restaurant and declining food quality might deter some customers, but those looking for a convenient, tasty takeout option might still find Papa Gill's worth a shot. Make sure to try the chicken pakora and the curries for a satisfying meal experience.
We had a carry out and it was poor. The mixed pakora was satisfactory but the other two chicken dishes were not up to the mark and certainly not near the standa...
