Patrons rave about an impressive selection of craft beers, including gluten-free options, and scrumptious dishes like truffle and pecorino fries. While the restaurant can get busy, especially on weekends, excellent customer service—from attentive servers to accommodating seating arrangements—enhances the experience. Guests appreciate the dog-friendly policy and outdoor seating for sunny days. Despite a few fleeting criticisms regarding service and flavor, Inn Deep remains a go-to destination for great food and drinks in Glasgow.
I visited Glasgow for two days. On the first day, I asked my tour guide where to eat lunch. I told her that I wanted great beer and a great atmosphere. I...
Love the Herrljunga cider from Sweden. The pub is also quite clever looking and smart with a view of the river. The allergen alerts are quite...
Inn Deep I did you an injustice. I rated you three stars when you should of been at least four. Maybe it was the thick cut chips, maybe it was that I missed...
I recently visited Inn Deep over the weekend, hoping to have a pleasant evening with my friend. However, I encountered an incident that left me deeply disappointed and hurt. While standing at the bar, a member of the staff approached me and rudely informed me that I wasn 't allowed to stand there. I understand that there was a sign that said Dinnae stand here, using Scottish slang for don 't. However, the staff member made it clear that she believed I couldn 't understand it due to my ethnicity. Her passive-aggressive tone and insinuation were clear indicators of casual racism. I feel compelled to emphasise that I was born and raised in Scotland, and I consider myself Scottish. I was shocked by this incident, as it is unacceptable to make assumptions based on someone 's appearance or background. This kind of casual racism has no place in any establishment, and it should not be tolerated. Furthermore, what was even more disappointing was the staff member 's complete lack of acknowledgment or apology when I informed her that we were being served by her colleague. Her dismissive behaviour only added to the experience. As a customer, I believe it is crucial to raise awareness about incidents like these and promote a respectful and inclusive environment. I hope the management of Inn Deep takes this matter seriously and addresses it appropriately. I would like to reiterate that I have been a resident of Scotland my entire life, and it is my hope that no one else encounters such insensitive treatment at Inn Deep. Discrimination should not be tolerated in any form, and I sincerely hope that necessary actions are taken to rectify this situation.
I liked this pub. A wonderful selection of beers in a friendly atmosphere. Quite busy when we were there, mainly a younger crowd. As well as the inside area, there is seating outside by the river. I had a lovely, and quite large, serving of nachos while I was there. Absolutely delicious. Recommended.
