While some diners reported inconsistent food experiences, with dishes sometimes lacking seasoning and portion sizes on the smaller side, others praised the excellent burgers and the delicious fish. The attentive staff consistently received high marks for their service, although management could improve communication about customer concerns. Whether for a quick bite or leisurely drinks, patrons found a cozy haven to unwind, complemented by a great beer selection and friendly company.
Cairns is a City Centre pub that consistently delivers on expectations based on my prior visits.
We were happy to take a break for a couple of pints at this charming little pub. The beer selection was great (we highly recommend trying the Belhaven Black), the staff were friendly, and there were plenty of screens for watching football.
The nuts are delicious and savory. The bartender misplaced the napkins but quickly resolved the issue by purchasing them at a nearby store. More high chairs are needed, so remember to bring them. The water pressure for cold drinks is adequate. In general, it's a nice pub.
Great food 5* for chefs and the people assisting him. However a certain waitress pretended that she does not know what I was ordering and brought me a peroni instead of a brownie. My speach has been really clear and I have witnesses for that as well if this matter is questioned. Not very nice.
Basic Glasgow bar but locals are friendly and the prices are ok compared to other pubs.
