Was User at Swadish a mag?
so impressed by this place. I had heard good things and it still knocked out my socks. we have the flower wings, the aloo tikki and the kale pakora. the kale pakoras are massive! they might have used more sauce or chutney with them, but they were so good. the aloo tikki was the outstanding starter for me, just delicious. for the net we ordered the beet valleys and the aubergine and pistachios. the beetroot armi came... What User dislikes about Swadish:
I was in Swadish on a Saturday night maybe too busy for them to pay attention to detail on the food, that is advertised on their website. The food was really average but not so average on pricing. £21.00 for a Monkfish curry is,...in my humble opinion, very expensive and it wasn't particularly exciting or flavoursome. Staff are very nice but the food is nowhere near the Michelin star category they're hoping for. Dess... View all feedback.

We ate here on a last trip to glasgow. After reading the reviews and conducting some research, we were very pleased. the service in the night was disorganized: we waited for more than 30 minutes on our starter and then one of the dishes was wrong. we were encouraged to keep the wrong starter while we waited for the right ones: that was obviously very generous but too much to eat! the kale starter is amazing: monster kale. the cauliflower starter (not ordered) was delicious and the aloo tiki (two days later is delicious. eating here is stunning, but the restaurant must improve communication between the kitchen and the waiting staff: we were not the only diner to have problems and the restaurant was not busy. we will definitely return and definitely recommend this restaurant if they like me stretch a decent vegan curry!

This place won scottish best indian restaurant 2022 and wanted to try it out. a cordial greeting as soon as we came in, the service was great, felt not rushed and the waiter was very well informed about the dishes on the menu. I and my partner ordered the chicken masala and the seabass, both were extremely tasty and perfectly cooked. safe to say this place lives up to the hype, it was a wonderful experience.

So grateful and satisfied with swadish by ajay kumar. it was the first experience of my brother in swadish, and I must say they deserve a standing evation for their service and compassion. so many vegan options to choose from. we had a special order due to food restrictions, and they ensured that we were all satisfied. she curates all the dishes to meet our specific needs. their desserts are something from this world. we ordered the forbidden apple and rajasthani ghevar. the colors, the texture, the taste everything was 10/10 came to the service, it was exceptional. the real demut and friendliness of the staff as well as the fact that chef ajay himself came out to talk to everyone about their experience, shows how much they appreciate their customers. they are really the best Indian restaurant in Scotland! this is a meelin star level experience.

Me and my partner went here after seeing some blogs posting about their vegan options, but ended up almost leaving after finding out those reviews were a bit older and the menu had changed, when we went there only two options (one starter and one main) were marked as specifically vegan. However, our server was absolutely lovely and pointed out which dishes could be turned into vegan ones so we stayed and it was worth it. We shared two starters and one main, all of which were really delicious. We felt like one of them was a bit underspiced but that was probably because I said I can't eat spicy food so they were trying to be extra careful. Overall very reasonably priced, lovely atmosphere and tasty food. Would go here another time if I find myself in the neighborhood again! I'm super critical, and everyone in my party gave this 5 stars... Swadish is a great place and the best Indian restaurant I've been to. Excellent food, excellent service... my only quibble was my main dish was a tad over-seasoned. Having said that... the food was still better than a One Michelin starred restaurant I've been to in London. If you're in Glasgow and can afford it, eat here!
