Was User at Shogun a mag?
The atmosphere here is very friendly and engaging. Although it isn't the cheapest option, it's definitely worth every penny, as each entree is easily enough for two people. I would probably rate it five stars, but the waitress was somewhat rude and inattentive. Still, I would recommend this place! View all feedback.
What Denise Helin dislikes about Shogun:
Was solo so sat at the bar. Bartender/server was surly and mumbled. Ordered bento box for dinner —-he grumbled something about “why you want white rice when you have sushi”. I told him I didn’t like fried rice (nowhere on menu does it say you don’t get rice when you have the sushi option listed (which was tasteless BTW). They served the tempura veggies on top of the salad greens so that ruined the salad. A huge bowl... View all feedback.

I typically do not like hibachi; I have never understood the hype. I tried it a few times in a couple of different states and always left disappointed. The quality of the food never justified the price and I was always hungry afterwards. Neither was true at Shogun in Glasgow. So much food. So much. And it was all very, very good. The sushi was also outstanding; I had a rainbow roll and it was just as good as the best sushi restaurants in Nashville.
The food was good, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Noodles
Needs a face lift, and some new acts. It’s tired. Can’t they do something other than bag the spatula and throw a shrimp at you? Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Steak
I had an incredible experience at Shogun's Sushi Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure every detail of the service was perfect. Now for the sushi—absolutely top-notch! The fish was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was like art on a plate. My favorites were the spicy tuna roll and the chef's special sashimi platter—both bursting with flavor. They even offered some creative twists on classic rolls that I hadn’t seen before. The cherry on top was the dessert—a green tea mochi that was the perfect way to end the meal. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just looking to try something new, Shogun's is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
