Zeno - Glasgow

Beautiful evening meal in the local kitchen. what a sound! the food was fresh, tasty and cheap. small portions so choose 3 dishes beween 2 and enjoy the quality. great service. we look forward to our next trip!

Had a fabulous meal at zeno's. The fish soup was delicious and my wife and daughter really enjoyed the venison meatball. Everything we are was tremendous. 5 stars.

Really nice and modern local italian/ modern mediterranean restaurant. Well decorated, friendly and quick service. Good wine and tasty, interesting food.

It's a convenient spot for those living in Pollokshields, but I can't see anyone traveling from afar just to visit Zeno. The tapas dishes are tasty, and the meatballs were outstanding on my first visit. However, the quality dropped during my second visit. The chocolate cake was only half the size of what I had previously, and instead of being moist and gooey, it was a bit dry. The polenta cake was quite dry as well, and at £5 for a slice (which seems absurd for a local café), I expected better. Zeno feels more like a neighborhood café trying to appear as a chic restaurant. Some dishes, like the inkfish, were underwhelming and brought down the overall quality of the menu. On a positive note, the service was lovely, and the staff was great. However, the owner/manager acted a bit oddly, particularly when he prematurely promised to bring our dishes closer together, which was awkward for everyone involved.
