The Kent Fish Chip Shop - Glasgow

It's great to discover a fish and chip shop that offers plenty of vegan options. The owner or staff member really understands veganism, and I appreciated that everything is cooked separately—something that's quite uncommon for these types of places. The chips were excellent, and I tried the vegan battered sausage, which was decent. It’s a bit high in calories, but it really hit the spot!

It's great to have vegan options available at a chip shop. The battered sausages were delicious! However, I wasn't a fan of the black pudding. The owner was very pleasant, though.

The Tofish was definitely the standout for me. While the vegan chicken nuggets were a tad bland, they were still enjoyable. I haven't yet had the chance to try the other two vegan options. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly friendly, cracking jokes and helping me navigate the menu as it was my first time there. It was clear he had a lot of regular customers who came and went, creating a sense of community in the shop while I waited (not long at all) for my meal. Overall, I really like this place. Despite some inconsistencies in quality—like occasionally cold chips or varying portion sizes—I’m really happy that I can enjoy chippy nights with my flatmates here. A fish and chip shop with a separate vegan menu, and a vegan fryer. I was lucky enough for.a fellow worker to bring a tofu fish and I've an black pudding and chips in for lunch. All were good, the black pudding was the winner. All traditions style, pudding in better,. Stopped for a grab and go lunch and enjoyed very much. Black pudding and sausage suppers. Yum.
