Feedback
The restaurant has received mixed reviews, with some customers expressing disappointment in the quality of the food, particularly in dishes like the Sunday roast and steak. However, others have praised the attentive service provided by staff members like Kevin, who went above and beyond to ensure a positive dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was noted to be beautiful, and some customers were impressed with the delicious food they ordered, such as the Steak Pie and Mac and Cheese. Overall, while there were some issues with food quality and wait times, many customers found the restaurant to be a good choice, especially if attending a show at the nearby theatre.
Really lovely meal I had here with my family for a graduation celebration two of us had the rump steaks which were cooked to perfection and another the Philly cheeseteak baguette again really nice. Service was really good and efficient and staff lovely and friendly. Would go back again if in town.
Service 5/5 Food 0/0 Came out for a last minute Sunday roast and steak. The steak was burned on the outside and undercooked in the middle. Roast beef was overcooked, the roast potatoes are frozen from a bag and the carrots and broccoli were rock solid. Sincerely the worst roast dinner I've ever had. One plus point for the service. Kevin was lovely and very attentive.
The Sunday Roast Beef at this restaurant was not edible. I would recommend skipping the 2 course deal on Groupon and going somewhere else to save your money. It's disappointing that the food quality is lacking, as the service and cocktails are excellent. The bartender is very skilled, but it's a shame to see them working in a place where the chef doesn't know how to cook.
Been a few times over the years and really enjoy the atmosphere and service. Hoping it comes back in the future Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: T-Bone Steak 14oz
I hate leaving one star reviews, but thought it was worth leaving a review to say that we arrived to find the place shut. Nothing on Google or the website. Took several minutes perusing the Internet to find an article from Glasgow Live confirming Steak Cherry closed in October of 2024. I imagine that won't be news to anyone who's local, but as someone who isn't, we were a bit disappointed (and sorry to hear). Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
