Brilliant wee pub, staff very friendly, great atmosphere, eating excellent

Soup, fish and chips (salad and exalted) with rice pudding or ice/fruit for £5 which is not to like.

Rough old bar but not in a bad way. A time warp. Even has an old tabletop arcade game. I have removed one star because a three course lunch doesn't cost £1.20 anymore

I absolutely love this restaurant! My family has been coming here for lunch for nearly 35 years, and we all adore it. I recently returned for the first time after all the lockdowns, and I had lunch on Saturday with a friend. This is my go-to place for birthday lunches every year! Isabel is fantastic and always remembers what we like to order. The service is superb and the value is amazing. Please don't ever change!
