Popped in for brunch on Sunday. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Immediately shown to a seat and offered drinks. The breakfast/brunch food is excellent and not expensive. The service was a wee bit on the slow side but the staff kept us informed. They had only one person at the bar so coffees were delayed. The lovely atmosphere and tasty food made up for all that. Waited for very very long time just to get a seat, even though I could see plenty of empty tables that just needed cleaning up. Couldn’t help but feel that me being Indian had something to do with it. I’ve eaten out a lot, even in places like London, and never felt ignored like this. It just didn’t sit right with me. Visited today because of the positive reviews of the sausage saucer. It was very good, and the chips were excellent. I think they were Linda MacCarney sausages I really like. It was just a shame that it just kne vegan option. I also want to see tof-ish or vegan scampi.
I went here with some non-vegan buddies as they were blown away from all the prizes she won. Expected no vegan option, but the sausage sauce was excellent! The all-embracing also tried something and were impressed. Service was fast and friendly. Well done!
