The restaurant's online menu may not showcase its vegan options well, but if you look at the menu in the window, you'll see that the vegan dishes are clearly marked. The service was a bit slow due to the busy crowd, with only one person serving all the tables. However, despite these drawbacks, I am giving an extra star for the unique Korean vegan options that are hard to find anywhere else outside of Korea. View all feedback.
The online menu may not clearly show vegan options, but the menu displayed in the window clearly marks them. The service was a bit slow due to the busyness of the restaurant, with only one person serving dishes to tables. Despite these shortcomings, I added an extra star for the unique Korean vegan food options that I haven't seen anywhere else outside of Korea.
I, a vegetarian, ordered the eggplant katsu with garlic soy sauce and my vegan boyfriend had the tofu bibimbap. Both dishes were fantastic. The portion sizes were generous and the flavors were delicious. We took advantage of the meal deal, which included 2 vegan starters for £13.95 - seaweed rolls and spicy scallion tofu. They were amazing and definitely made the visit worthwhile. We will definitely be returning!
After hearing good things about this restaurant, we decided to check it out ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that they offered a two-course menu for £13.95, even on a Saturday night. There were plenty of vegan options available, including a dessert. The food tasted authentic and surpassed some of the more fashionable Korean restaurants in Glasgow. The staff were friendly and willing to guide us through the vegan choices.
I really enjoyed the cozy and inviting atmosphere of this restaurant. They offer a set menu during the week with 2 courses for £13.95. I decided to try the Tofu starter and Bibimbap main, as well as the tteok-bokki starter. The food was fantastic and gave me a true taste of authentic Korean cuisine. The bibimbap had a variety of textures, but was on the spicier side. I highly recommend this place if you're in Central Glasgow and looking for delicious vegan Korean food. While the vegan options may be limited, they are all excellent choices!
