Food and service was Fab!! My mother and I really enjoyed our courses. The staff is very attentive, even if they are torn off their feet. My mother had heard how good the Rigatoni al Forno was and when we arrived, it was not on the pre-theater menu and so she asked if it was possible to have it and the chefs did it for them what was very appreciated! I had to start Prawns and the only criticism I would have is it served with a morning roll?! No butter. Thought it was quite strange to have shrimp and a morning roll together! My main salmon was delicious and so was the chocolate brownie!!! Would highly recommend.
We came to our dinner with our friends just before 5:00. The restaurant was obviously busy, but there was no one on the desk there were several couples waiting for me to go to the bar to ask when eventually a young boy might ask he could help that I said that we had a booking for 5 pm gave my name he went up and came back saying that he wasn't our name and asked if it was definitely booked, he told us to go to find out about going up and going up while I had been busy We got the pre-theater menu service was good Our appetizers came ours was fine, our friends said meatballs were delicious dinner was fine, although my husband Lasagne was not particularly big and was burned around the edges was Risotto, what nice our friends said, it was nice that she came Salmon Coffees quite fast and were informed that candy ran a bit behind, what was obviously busy.
Have eaten several times but sadly this time it really disappointed. The pre theatre menu is very basic and didn’t offer any value. Ordered lasagne, when it arrived there was no meat or sauce between the pasta. Sent it back and was offered bolognese which when it arrived looked like it had been nuked. By the time it cooked enough to eat it the pasta was brick hard. Also you got a real feeling of being rushed which also added to the disappointment.
Great food and service, we will definitely be back.
Restaurant was very, very busy yet the service was exemplary and the food was good. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Well done to all on duty on the evening of our visit (4 July)
