This is what other restaurants must strive to become. Bombay Blues is an Indian restaurant in Glasgow, and its real achievement is that its food makes you forget that you're outside India. It exhibits quality thorough each and every aspect of its offerings. I had a buffet here, and I literally loved every single item that was in front of me. I ate till my stomach couldn't handle more. I visited this restaurant on Wednesday evening with friends for dinner, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone enjoys their meal and the ambiance. The food is exceptional, with an excellent buffet selection as well as an à la carte menu. Either option will not disappoint. They are very accommodating; I wanted a dish that wasn’t on the menu, and they quickly made it for me with extra spice and meat. What arrived at our table was a delight—a spicy dish that was simply fantastic and met all the expectations (see picture below). Thank you for a memorable experience; we will definitely be back soon!
I recently had dinner at this restaurant, which was my first experience with Indian food in the UK. We chose the buffet option, which offered a good variety of dishes for £13.90 per person. The food was tasty, although not as spicy as what I’ve had in India, it was still enjoyable. I felt welcomed upon entering the restaurant, especially since it has a Punjabi theme. The place is very clean and conveniently located near Glasgow Central Station. Overall, a pleasant dining experience!
Honesty is the best policy, and that’s exactly what Bombay Blues embodies. The warm welcome upon arrival immediately puts you at ease, making it one of the standout aspects of this restaurant. The North Indian cuisine is beautifully presented, featuring delightful starters. The accompanying chutneys, pickles, and salads truly showcase the flavors of India. The ambiance is fantastic, so I recommend requesting a table towards the back to enjoy the open sky. A big thank you to Jeevan and the team for a lovely and enjoyable evening!
Great authentic Indian cuisine, beautiful ambiente. for vegeter the buffet has a large selection of appetizers, but net is limited. they were happy to order additional dishes freshly prepared, which were included in the buffet price. excellent value for money! a must to visit and definitely a re-visit ruuarent : highly recommended. and the best part: always cheerful, beautiful and friendly staff, friendly service.
I was here for lunch buffet. The arrabgement was fine but not many variety for vegetarians and the food doesn't look fresh on the buffet. But as soon as the waitress saw our disappointment she brought a freshly prepared palak paneer and butter roti (tawa). And that made my day. I would suggest to order some freshly prepared dish to enjoy the real taste here. Happy Eating
