Bar Soba Merchant City - Glasgow

This restaurant offers a great pre-theater menu option. Despite only being my third visit in ten years, the food and wine (especially the Rioja by the glass) were excellent as always. This time, we opted for the early evening menu and were very impressed, particularly with the pressed lamb shoulder. Ausilia provided friendly and unobtrusive service, even though it was a quiet night. I am already anticipating my next visit.

I would have preferred to use Urban Spoon to find this restaurant, as it was recommended in a guide. The Grunde Pub had a laminated menu, and we ate there before going to the theater. The prices were reasonable, but the food wasn't anything to rave about.

Karine D. wants to mention that the negative reviews from a few years ago may have been taken down, as this restaurant has improved and seems to have redeemed itself in terms of its food quality.

Excellent evening. last week had a great night out here, super sea food, served right, and workers who know the menu.

Great meal excellent service, don't let the previous bogs put you off. This is a great place if you want great food come here to City Merchant.
