The best gyros in Glasgow! And the best gyros I've had anywhere including Athens! Get the mixed meat gyros, add halloumi and lamb souvlaki with some spicy feta sauce and thank me later View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Athena Greek Taverna:
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but during my visit, the place was nearly empty and the music was too loud. I will definitely return for the food, but the service was disorganized and our server made us feel uneasy with their chaotic behavior. View all feedback.
Amazing, fresh food, great portion sizes, very friendly and speedy service. Well priced too. Went there at about 18.00 on a Thursday after shopping in Glasgow, ordered the souvlaki (plates) and a Greek salad. We asked them to skip the chillies in the salad (some people noted that the food is spicy, so know that you can make these requests). Seriously, couldn't have asked for anything better. Hard recommend!
Booked restaurant in advance, got there on the day and it was closed. Luckily found somewhere else to hold.
Really really nice. lovely staff, lovely place and we had a lovely time. The yoghurt dessert is a must try.

A good selection of Greek food. But don't sit near the door as it's cold. £17.50 for wine. Very reasonable
