Great Vietnamese restaurant! The owners are so kind and the food is well prepared, unique, and delicious. It is obvious that they take pride in the food they serve. I tried the Woven Rice and Pork and it was amazing. Recommend this place if you want totry something new! Will be back to try something else on the menu. 5 stars! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Broken Rice Pho Com Tam Viet:
Friendly staff and we got our food quickly. No refills on our water though. Everything is a bit over priced compared to the surrounding restaurants that serves the same stuff. Their drinks look pretty in the book but not worth the price, especially thecoffee. There was barely any noodles in the Bun Bo Hue and they were all broken. Bun Bo Hue flavor was perfect though.Nonetheless this is a first and last for us. View all feedback.

This meal was incredible! The flavors were fantastic and we will absolutely return. A must-try!
The food and service were outstanding. This restaurant has set a high standard for Vietnamese cuisine and has made it difficult for me to enjoy other Vietnamese restaurants. We will certainly return!
The staff are extremely nice and polite. Their broken rice specials have the most items of any Vietnamese restaurant that I’ve been to in KC. I order them every time!
Very under rated restaurant. There rarely seem to be many customers. However, the food is very good. They also do take out and are one of the few local restaurants that accept crypto payments. If you plan to get a soup, I recommend eating it there instead of getting it to go.My husband is obsessed with their broken rice dishes.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. The Vietnamese cuisine is exceptional, especially the amazing pho. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. My only minor issue is that the restaurant can be a bit noisy, making it easy to overhear other diners' conversations.
Nestled away from the bustling city life, this family-owned Vietnamese restaurant is a true hidden gem, celebrated for its delicious and affordable cuisine. Diners rave about the flavorful pho, particularly the chicken variant, and the exceptional woven rice plates. Despite becoming busy during peak hours, the friendly and attentive staff ensure a pleasant dining experience. Clean and spacious, the restaurant offers a comforting atmosphere perfect for groups or intimate meals. Whether you're indulging in traditional appetizers or sipping the delightful house iced Vietnamese coffee, this eatery sets a high standard for Vietnamese dining, making it a must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

The staff was friendly, and we received our food promptly. However, we didn't get any refills on our water. Prices seemed a bit high compared to nearby restaurants that offer similar dishes. The drinks looked appealing on the menu, but they weren't worth the cost, particularly the coffee. The Bun Bo Hue had very few noodles, and they were all broken, although the flavor was spot on. Overall, this will be our first and last visit.
I've visited this place a few times over the past few weeks, and the food is amazing! The staff is warm and friendly, making for a great experience. I highly recommend trying Broken Rice.
Really bad food. Not just bad Vietnamese food but food in general. Bad tasting, bad preparation, bad presentation. overcooked or undercooked vegetables, gummy inedible squid, tiny shrimp and scallops. If it wasn't for the grocery store Hoisin sauce nothing would have any flavor. Save your money, find another Vietnamese restaurant to support.
I truly enjoyed the food here; it definitely satisfied my cravings for Vietnamese cuisine! The owner also came over to introduce herself, and we were very happy with the service provided by our waitress.
Amazing food! Great flavor and we will definitely be back! This place is a must! Go there asap

This Vietnamese restaurant is the best in the city. It is family owned and operated, with two lovely young ladies serving as waitstaff. It gets very busy, especially on Saturdays and Sundays at lunchtime, so be prepared to wait - but it is definitely worth it. The pho broth is flavorful and heavenly, with the perfect blend of herbs. The woven rice plates, particularly the pork, are fantastic. The bowls are delicious and refreshing, and every appetizer is exceptional. Don't forget to try the house iced Vietnamese coffee with milk. The owner and their family are incredibly kind and hardworking. This restaurant is truly amazing - you must go.

I love this place. Great food. It’s a large restaurant with 1-2 waitress. The wait can be long. Bahn mi, soup, and noodles are all amazing. Try sugar cane drink.Food: 5/5

I thought I had my best Vietnamese restaurant pick but this restaurant just beats all, literally the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. A full menu of traditional foods and tastes delicious! The house is clean and spacious and great ambiance! Boss lady issuper warm and welcoming. Only downfall is too far from me.
