The gas house plettenberg would be called original. from outside it looks very old, but inviting. inside the light is wonderfully dimmed and the mood is always loose. next to a super kitchen, which is now visited much more often after the smoking ban in pubs, there are kicker tables and naturally dart discs (softdart.) the prices are in good average for good bourgeois cuisine. especially for people who live near the hotel, a visit to this pension is at least 1x obligatory.
Yes, actually since the opening before approx. 3 years only positve experiences. the kitchen is good and the good-bourgeois stew or the court on Saturday and the game to shake is up, even if the cook sometimes looks blunt! also are to miss all the others who are flee is also well chosen. the drinking are large and sufficient. above all, they should try the currywutst and the plettenberger. the musical underpainting is good and stones lovers come especially on their taste. I'm glad to be there!
...mir/ours enjoyed it very well at Plettenberg, very friendly and courteous, the food was very tasty and plentiful. The mood at the S04 game was overwhelming....until the balance against Cologne. fg. But I will often run into Plettenberg.
I have to revise my previous review after my last visit on 16.12.2016. The Schnitzel Julischka I ordered at Michael's times a delicious classic was just laff and without taste. Also the fries were other than the tasty old. They tasted for cheap products and they could almost be described as muffy. They were not tasted at the table without salt and also after repeated salting by the salt shaker. Also the carving was completely tasteless, not the touch of pepper and salt. The gypsy sauce, previously always very picantly tasted, was the only one on the plate with a slight approach of taste, but unfortunately also much too little. And the whole thing for 14,90 €.! I think the guest can expect much more. I've read that the new guard should be chef. And then such a food goes out....?? Other people of our round have cost of my court, so the plate was almost empty, and all of my opinion prevailed. I also told Annika that I knew better Julischkas from Plettenberg, she wanted to pass on my complaint. Unfortunately, no response came from the kitchen. I don't have to go to the inn Plettenberg for dinner. Too bad....
Surely all Plettenberg fans have come along...... Michael, an institution of the bustling gastronomy scene, is no longer at Plettenberg and we are already missing. Nevertheless, last Saturday my brother had invited to Plettenberg on his birthday and we were of course happy to test the “new kitchen?” Sabrina and Tatjana are, fortunately, still there, and so the drinks we used to come quickly without long waiting times. Ms. Schirmanski made a nice impression as a new boss and worked with the service, Mr. Schirmanski was busy in the kitchen. The menu was not put on the head by the new tenants, we could only find small changes. All 6 selected dishes were very good, finely tasted and cooked. All meat was tender, inside pink and not fried, even the hosting was nicely crisp. All at the table were satisfied with their choice, and a small mistake in the supplements was also preferred. Overall, according to the unanimous opinion at the table, the kitchen performance has improved. It doesn't mean she was bad before, in no case. However, it has evolved. It was a nice evening at Plettenberg. Michael, we'll see you at your new site...!
