Oh my goodness the pasta was absolutely delicious! The flavour and combo is unlike what you can get from anywhere. I loved the smoked saba miso cream fettuccine so much. So beautifully arranged on the plate and carefully presented. The staff are also very very friendly. View all feedback.
What Rui Ni doesn't like about Wasuta Pasta:
Food was okay but over-priced. Service was terrible. Waited a very long time for them to take my order. Asked for water but everyone was busy doing something else. Servers were all in the kitchen, waited for another 15 mins just to get our bill. Won't come here again. View all feedback.

I 've been to Wasuta Pasta multiple times since they opened. Usually minimal wait times on Friday nights less than 15mins which is great for a last minute dinner. Service is always great and a lot of the servers are Japanese. Majority of the customers are small groups. I love how they include a rotating menu with several pastas/drinks of the day we usually always try one of those when we visit! Some of the staples that we usually get is the smoked saba miso cream and the scallop uni cream fettucine both so delicious and full of umami! I don 't think there is a bad pick for any of the pastas. The cream is not overpowering in the sense that it makes your stomach feel sick afterwards, but rather provides a fragrant taste and flavour to the dish. I was so impressed with their saba and could not stop thinking about it for a long time afterwards! In the pictures, we tried the mentaiko Carbonara and one of their rotating pastas, which happened to be chanterelle mushrooms with some pumpkin/sweet potato bits ? . Super fragrant and delicious and worth a try if it ever comes back in rotation! Mentaiko Carbonara was just okay, not one of my top picks at this restaurant but I 'm glad I got to try it!One of my goals is to try all the pastas on their menu everything always sounds so good!
Neat restaurant tucked away in a corner of Richmond serving Italian Japanese pasta. Inside is modern and clean with ample seating inside and outside if needed. The service may appear slower but the food comes out efficiently quick except the drinks could come almost midway when your meal is served.
Kanna and staff were excellent! Everytime I go, it’s very consistent and It’s always a pleasure with their quality Japanese homemade pasta from scratch! The uni scallop pasta, Sakura shrimp squid ink, wagyu beef carpaccio, and burrata are my go to!
