What Megan Chapman doesn't like about Jane's Restaurant & Pizza:
my elders live in alder point. they order janes pizza for years! I live between edmonton and cape breton. I like to surprise my parents with a tasty bite and order a pizza that is delivered when I am gone. they have always rated the pizza 12/10. We stopped here about 45 minutes before they closed and they couldn't have been nicer. We ordered vegetarian pizza and it was delicious. This was recommended by our hotel and glad they did.
This was a very surprising experience for me, when I first enter I figured this was just another ordinary eatery but when my meal came and I stared to eat it the food was very very tasteful. Well worth the drive to the north side.
The dining area is small but cozy. Very friendly staff along with great food. Janes has a large menu with lots of choices and reasonable prices.
Our group ordered two pizza's - Hawaiian and works. We got the 16 inch ones and they were great. We had enough to have picnic the following day as went went around the Cabot Trail. This is a popular spot ( with locals) and we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. Once in we were waited on right away. Service was good and the pizza was too. I can understand why the place is so popular. We were really full or we would have ordered dessert. They looked really great! Pies seem to be popular!This is where I would eat if I went to this area again. There were lots more choices on the menu - we all just wanted pizza.
This restaurant serves great homemade food. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The daily specials are great. Everything I have eaten there has always tasted great. They even have a seniors menu.
