Le Jardin Des Plumes - Giverny

My husband and I spent a night at the inn and dined at their well-regarded restaurant. The dining room is elegant and the food was excellent. We had dressed up but most of the patrons were dressed casually, so there’s no need to get fancy. We went for the 7 course menu and I had 5 wines paired with it. I thought the pours were generous so I was unable to empty the glasses, though I enjoyed the wines and felt that they paired well with the food. Service was attentive and gracious. We would recommend dining here even if you don’t stay at the hotel, however you double your pleasure to experience both.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant. Both experiences were outstanding. The hotel room was comfortable and charming, with great breakfast. The restaurant was equally excellent. We had the 5 course menu with paired wines. Highly recommended with both the food and the wines being imaginative in composition and presentation. One Michelin star, but might be pushing on Two.
