Carl's Jr. is not what it used to be. It was once the best burger spot in New Zealand, but now the cheese is rarely melted, the sauce is often skimpy, and the buns are as cold as the cheese. The fries seem to be cooked for less time or at a lower temperature than before. View all feedback.

They used to be great, however last couple of visits the food has been cold and the chips old...old and cold not good. Had a run of unmixed shakes, service is pretty quick, but atmosphere ain't that friendly. ...didn't even get a thankyou last visit, just put up with it as we don't have much choice here in gizzy for a quick feed . . The double cheesy bacon combo and the hand-scooped milkshakes are fantastic! I personally think it's a better option than McDonald's and Burger King in Gizzy. The fries and onion rings are exceptional. In terms of pricing, it's a bit on the expensive side, but I believe it's worth it for the quality.
This was my first visit to CJ's, and I was impressed with the variety of options available. The food was quite filling compared to other places I've tried. The young staff members at the front were friendly and respectful, making the experience enjoyable. Don't forget to look for deals and coupons online to get discounts on your meals or sides!
As always, the food met expectations and was freshly prepared. The only drawback at this location was that the floor was quite slippery, even in areas that seemed dry.
Good service food delivered to our table in minutes even though it was reasonably busy staff seem happy in their work which made for a good atmosphere burgers are huge and really tasty highly recommend
Popped in for a quick dinner the other night when we arrived in gizzy. Server was great. Very friendly and informative. Also told us if we quickly filled out a survey while we waited for our order we could redeem a free cheese burger which he quickly made and popped in with our original order after I completed it. Drink station was clean and tidy and flavour was good. Will definitely return
