Terra - Girona

Popped in for lunch. Place was quiet so got window seat with great view over the river. We ordered Iberian sandwich and Chicken salad which were both good quality and very well priced. Definitely recommend this for a short stop and budget lunch.

Popped in for lunch, very tasty burgers and sandwiches. Would recommend the Chorizo Sandwich. Nice to sit overlooking the river.

Sandwiches are extremely tasty. Eating one of the sandwiches at a table by the river is a great experience. I recommend the spicy hamburguer (hamburguesa xorissada)

A good breakfast wandering in a nice place with the colorful majolica and a beautiful view from the window on the colorful hanging houses on the river onyar. two cappuccini a slice of cheese cake and a carrot cake 11 euros.

Many of the pictures you see of Girona are taken from the various bridges over the river that winds through the centre. These join the old and new towns and this outlook onto the various traditional buildings that line the river gives the city such character. Yet, surprisingly, very few bars and restaurants, take advantage of this aspect. This cafe/restaurant has the advantage of having windows that form that facade. You can have a drink and snack whilst looking over that famous river view. If you are not lucky enough to snatch these spots don't worry the interior is suitably charming with nice tiled walls and floors and little corners to hide away in. The food is okay, above average but not special, but for a lunchtime or light dinner it is ideal. Sandwiches and burgers are good. No outdoor space but you are in the centre of the city (on the old side) so location and that view easily compensate.
