Typical home kitchen from this area. Do not expect your international chic stuff, but good hearty food with local love. Desserts are basically only commercial products prior to you. But a free bottle of wine and a full liter of water that is thrown in the mix make this a good price. I feel full and relaxed and ready to go. Avoid the rush hour at 1 not 2 p.m. washrooms and kitchen are somewhat rough, but clean. View all feedback.

One of those places where you wish you could turn round and walk outonce you have sat down. (Why do us Brits have a problem doing just that! Menu del dia €12. Really tipical and good food. I rate baccalà con pansas y pinoles and crema catalana.

Peeling paint unloved interior, disgusting dirty peeling laminated menu. Server looked like she needed a good wash, and so did her jumper. Now for 12 euros including the usuals, if it were cooked ok, I would not be complaining BUT what I glimpsed through the service hatch from kitchen to dining area was not good, infact on the way out I walked into the passage to the kitchen to get a better view, and I would say avoid this place. Dirty disorganised kitchen, yuk.
We arrived at 12.30 and explained we had only 45 mins. Not a problem .... We were served bread within seconds... wine..and appetizers within 5... Very tasty fish soup jamon with melon .... Main followed shortly consisting of local made sausage with Mediterranean veggies. ... Finally followed by Catalonian Creme .. it was a perfect lunch for 12 Euro each... Great service and we were out with time to spare. ...thanks ..
We spent a week touring Spain and this was our worst meal by far. The seafood soup was really a broth with no seafood, the paella had scraps of meat but no seafood and they ran out of all of their deserts except for some fruit and yogurt still in it's little container. There were 6 of us and we left with a very bad taste in our collective mouths. I would avoid this place if at all possible.
August 26th:We decided to have lunch here as the price was good for 12€ with a bottle of wine and 3 course meal , but was a bit dubious thinking where is the catch , being an english/Irish family with 2 young children 8 and 5 from France we are pretty familiar with 12 € lunch menu's and the enfant eat just about anything, but with wine thrown in , well it's true and a lovely meal from starter to main of which we had the seafood paella lovely ,puddings well what do you expect for 12€ the creme caramel was a supermarket job but hey the main made up for it , staff ok , would eat here again
